October 14th

Today I had to change all the rosters Mrs. Greer sent me into pdf's and then post it on the website. It almost took all class because it took a long time for the files to save a pdf's. It was also for the high school and middle school. After I finished that I didn't have anything to do, so I did my homework. Next Mr. Langley might send me some updated documents to put on the website.

October 9th

Today I Mr. Langley showed me how to edit a document using Photoshop. We had to change the name of the superintendent to Mr. Runge. After I finished that I had to post sports schedules on the website for Mrs. Greer. I had to change them all to pdf's so it took a long time. Next class I post the rosters Mrs. Greer wants me to post.

October 7th

Today I went through some photos Mr. Langley sent and picked out some good ones. After that I didn't have anything to do so I worked on my homework. Then Mr. Langley sent me an email and told me to list Mr. Runge's email on the district office tab. I did that and then made sure his email was listed on the staff page too. Next class I will edit a document Mr. Langley wants changed.

October 3rd

Today I had to re-size some photos and put them on the district website. That took a long time, but once I was done I updated the news feed on the high school website and took out all the old information. I also looked over some sports calendars and then put the updated ones on the website. Next class I will look through the photos Mr. Langley sent.

October 1

Today I updated the graduation tab on the website. I had to change the date. After that I took snowball out of the clubs list because it isn't a club. Once I finished that put some pictures of the high school site. I had to re-size them so it took a while. I also emailed the secretaries of the middle and elementary school to get pictures to put in the district site. Next class I will put the pictures on the district site.

September 25th

Today I worked on the sports calendars. I double checked the dates Mrs. Greer put in. That didn't take long. After that I  re-sized some photos so I could put them on the home page of the website. That took the rest of the day because I had to do it one by one instead of all at once. Next class I will put the calendars on the website and start pulling photos for Mr. Langley.

September 23rd

Today I took all the information out of the student artwork section in the website because all the information was really old. I also took out all the information about the class officers because all of it was from last year. I need to figure out who the class officers are for this year so I can update them. I also updated the date in the AP English section because it was old. After that was finished most of the updates on the list were made, besides the photo updates because I can't update those until new ones come in. Next time I will finish anything I can and see if there is new things that need to be done.

September 19th

Today Mr. Langley sent me photos from homecoming week, so I went through those and picked some out to put on the front page of the website. After I finished that I sent the dance team photo to plains press. When I finished that I renamed all the guidance tabs to school counselling because Mrs. Brandon asked me to. Next week I will continue updates to the website.

September 17th

Today I continued to label the team photos. I labeled all the photos I could, but I couldn't label some of the pictures because they don't have jersey numbers that correlate with a roster. I sent those photos to the coaches so they could identify the players. After I finished that I emailed Ms. McGraw for a photo of Mrs. Greer. Next class I will continue updates on the website.

September 15th

Today I updated some more stuff on the website like taking out some of the tabs on the community tab that wasn't being used. I took out the Alumni pages. I also checked to see if the teacher email list was up to date and it was. After that I started labeling the team photos Mr.Langley sent me. I got to the cheerleading photos but couldn't identify a couple members so I had to ask Miss K. Next class I will continue labeling the team photos.

September 11th

Today I deleted all the tabs that had Mr. Wards name in it. At first I didn't know if I was suppose to, but I was told it was okay. I left the tab that said "Mr. Ward's Links" because it had some important documents in it, so I'll have to see what I am suppose to do with that. After I finished that I deleted some things off the alumni page because it was extremely old and was not being used. The class pages need to be updated, but I don't have the information to do that, so I will need to find out the new class officers. Next class I will work on that and see if Mr.Langley has anything else for me to do. Ms.Greer asked me if I could put the Google calendars on the website, and I don't know if I am suppose to, so I will need to ask about that too.

September 9th

Today the internet came back so I got a lot done. First I went through all the club pages and updated all the dates and sponsors because most of them were really out of date. The club photos still need to be updated, but I can't do that until they take new ones. After I finished the club pages I saw that OTSD had their own tab so I asked Mr.Langley about it and he told me to delete it because it was extremely out of date. If they want a club page they can just make a new one with more up to date information. Next class I will go on to administration tab and delete all the information pertaining to Mr.Ward. I will also continue updating the other tabs too.

September 5th

Today the internet went out again after I finished updating the choir information, so I was only able to do a couple clubs (band, beta club, choir.) I got another study hall so I did my chemistry homework. Next class I will finish the club section and go onto the other tabs. I have a couple questions about some of the documents that are listed because I don't know if they should still stay, but other then that everything is going fine.

September 3rd

Today I started making updates to the website, like updating the club information, but after I finished art club the internet went out, so I couldn't do anything else. I finished my civics and journalism homework after that. Next time I plan on finishing all the club information so it is up to date and says the correct information. After that I will continue going through the website and taking out documents that are out of date or don't belong.

August 29

Today I finished making the list of all the updates that need to be made to the website. A lot of the updates can't be made until team/club photos are taken, but I can still change some things now. After I finished that I reviewed the new calendar updates. Next class I will probably start updating some of the things that need to be updated on the website or work more with the calendars.

August 27

Today I continued to work on the website update list.I got through to district schools tab and then Mr. Langley came in and told me to do something else. I went through the calendars that Mrs.Greer created and made sure all the events were put in correctly. I finished that, so next class I will continue working on the website update list, unless more calendars are put it. If more calendars are put in I will check those. Next week I think I will start updating the website.

August 25

Today I made a list of what needed to be updated on the website. I got almost half way through it today. I think I will finish it next class. I have community, district schools, faculty, fine arts, and student info. left. That is what I will do next class. After I finish the list I will start working on the updates that need to be made.

Today Mr. Langley and I worked on the computer that will not start up. We put a new hardrive and tried to start it up with a program. For some reason it would not start up correctly. Also I uploaded the new menus for March. I am still looking over the website to make sure everything is up to par. Next class hopefully we can fix the computer so I can go back to doing most of what I was doing before.

Today Mr Langley emailed us and told us to get the new student handbook and upload it. I asked Mr Ward for it and he had MR. Peterson send it to us. It took just a minute or 2 to put it up on the site. It is good though that we finally updated it. The most recent one was from 2010. Mr. Langley probably wont be in here but if he is hopefully he will have more for us to do.

Today we were not giving any instruction on what to do to the website. So I went through and looked at any old information that needed deleted. There wasnt very much but at least its something. Mr. Langley wasnt here today like always. Hopefully next time there will be a project or something to do to pass time.

January 10, 2014

Today I once again did not have a working computer so I had to use one of the old laptops. It works fine so far just the internet is a little slower than the desktop was. We didnt get a set of tasks to do today but I am sure Mr. Langley will email us and tell us what he wants done. I will continue to gain information about the club pages too. Mrs. Williams wants to hear from us so she can give us information about the NHS. Next time we meet we will set up a date with her.

January 8, 2014

Today was the first day in class back from winter break. We had to update a menu change but that was it. Also my computer stopped working so I could not do anything at all. Mr. Langley was not around either. I hope next class I will be able to do something and hopefully have a working computer.
